If I had one wish it would be to have perfect and flawless skin... I wish I didn't have oily skin, big pores and sensitive skin that leads to acne breakouts and blemishes. Seriously the list can go on but anyways....
So today's post is some of the things I have been limit myself from eating, drinking and change of lifestyle... to reach my ultimate goal of having flawless and perfect skin.
I'm currently reading The Clear Skin Diet and my goodness, this book bores me to death. Remind me of a Biology Course that I failed during my college years. But I still continue to read it because it also gives me healthy recipes and food that I should eat and stay away from.
No to SALT. I missed my Thai noodles but it contain so much sodium and not to mention I feel so bloated and I already have a round face so I would like less "contouring" on the face :)
I love my GREEN TEA!!! Drinking this will prevent from sun screen. Ever since my new love for Korean Drama, I'm so motivated to drink green tea and wanting to have pretty skin like the actors and actresses.
Almonds: soooooo delicious as snacks and on salads. These bad boys do have Vitamin E which acts as an antioxidant to helps protect skin cells from UV light (but can be pricey)
Another snack I enjoy eating is carrots, good for vision (they claimed but I'm near-sighted so tooo late lol), and great for clearing up breakouts.
Sweet Potatoes, yum yum. They're loaded with Vitamin C. I also use slices of raw potatoes and rub them all over my face once a week and another fruit/veggie I like to use for my face and to eat is tomatoes.
I never thought that Dark Chocolate is just like medicine... I'm not a fan of Dark Chocolate (besides my men hehe) but studies says it reduce the roughness in our skin and also protect against sun damage.
Berries, berries, berries: blackberries, blueberries, cherries, raspberries I love em all!!!
I do love my greens: Spinach, collard greens, mustard greens... this will give you less wrinkled skin.
And of course, beauty sleep and drink lots of pure natural water. My partying ways, clubbing have died many years ago and I don't smoke cigarettes which I believe is a factor to poor diet...
So these are the foods that are heaven sent to me and I'm continuing to eat them on a daily basis and working and reaching my goal.
What is up with me and my dot dot dot... I'm on another level... excuse my typos I have a million things running through my mind.
