Review: Wet n Wild in 'How I Met Your Magneta' Fastdry Nail Color

hi beauties!
so this review will be about the wet n wild in 'how i met your magneta' fast dry nail polish. first of all i picked this shade because it was too pretty in pink and looks like a light shade of fusia. it claims fast dry nail color will only need one coat and that it will dry in 60 seconds. so i did a little test drive and yes, its accurate within 60 seconds on one coat. the downfall of this product, its not opaque enough. it has a dull satin finish so i applied two coats to give its brighter color. now with an addition of two coats, it took 2-5 minutes longer to dry so eh.
overall i would rate this product a c
(natural light) with one coat
(under flash) with two coats

pros: its affordable for $1.99 (0.46 fl oz) and you can buy this at your local drugstore.
cons: not opaque and very runny

Is it too early for a Bucket list?

Hi dolls!
So ever since my birthday I been doing a lot of thinking about life... In "my early 30's" may seem too early to think of a Bucket List but I'd rather start some of them now and be happy to live with no regrets. I'm pretty sure that we all have goals that we'd like to accomplish and have something that simply fulfills a desire. Now, I have a bucket list as what I think of day by day, nothing big or major so its always an open book of changes. Mainly they're things that I say that I'd like to do with no real specific time frame...

-Learn French (my Country -Cambodia was colonized by the French and the language is our second or third language) and also because my daughters are part creole. I want to learn and teach them ☺

-Earn a degree. I don't care if its an Associate degree as long it's a piece of paper that typed by a Robo "DEGREE". I've earned a diploma in Airline Travel Specialist and also Medical Office Specialist but they are all short-term programs at a Trade School and Community College.

-And speaking of degree, I need to complete my school program of Ophthalmic Medical Technology

-I would love to travel to my homeland... Well I guess you can't say homeland, I wasn't born there. Meaning visit my country where my Parents are from and my ancestors. I would love to see Hong Kong, Chiang Rai and Bangkok, Thailand, Europe, Middle Eastern and also Africa (not sure of North Africa or South) and all the Islands and South America.

-Meet Trey Songz, Lyfe Jennings, Monica and Rihanna

(to be continued)

(with flash)

without flash

Hi Beauties!
I finally got my hands on the Wet n Wild Go For The Gold LE at my local Fred Meyers store. Rite-Aid and Walgreens were sold out. I absolutely and insanely love these (24 Karat Gold) gorgeous shades and they're perfect for the summer. I didn't get these two items as a BOGO (I wish!) But I still got a steal for them as buy 1 get 1 half off!

Shades:
33579 The Glided Age (Trio-eye shadows)
33581 Everything Under The Sun (5shades-bronzer)

I'm drooling over these gorgeous 3 shades and so impressed of the eyelid shade GOLD, so lovely and they're all pigmented.
The bronzer consists of 5 shades to create a soft and sun-kissed look.
Both are retail for $2.99 each

please don't mind the quality of the pictures, i'm not sure whats wrong with my camera

Review: E.L.F. Studio Powder Brush and Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder

With all this hype I'd finally got my hands on the E.L.F. Studio Powder Brush at Target. This powder brush is so soft, dense and so easy to use. I consider it as my multi-functional brush and use it to apply foundation (as my back-up foundation brush), powder, bronzer, and blush.
What I like about this flat top is, it allows you to stipple on liquid foundation and it leaves a full coverage flawless finish and I mainly use this as a foundation brush, powder and bronzer.
The packaging looks like a high end professional brush and just for $3 this beauty on a budget is Sold once again!
So yes I do like this brush because its inexpensive and would buy it again to stock it

(don't mind my chip nail lol)

I also had to pick up E.l.f. Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder (also $3) which is a very popular product from ELF. It is said to be the dupe of Nars Orgasm and Laguna set.
It has that healthy and youthful glow to your cheeks, peachy shimmer blush on one side and a bronzy shimmer bronzing powder on the other side (duo) It blends nicely and very pigmented.

According to their website:
Creates a healthy and natural glow all year long. The Blush highlights the cheeks to add a flush of color, while the Bronzer accents and contours cheekbones for beautiful definition.
Directions: Brush on the “bronze” to the hollow of the cheeks for definition and dust around the face line to create a healthy glow. Use the “blush” on the apple of the cheeks to create a subtle healthy glow.
Verdict: WINNER!

Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum

Hi Dolls, this isn't a review but a free product that I received from their Facebook fan page months ago. Now I have really short eye lashes and my eyes are so sensitive so any make-up, contacts, falsies and eye glasses it irrates my eyes but I'm so determined to have long and glamorous eyelashes that I will try anything. Plus its free! So why not give it a try. I have the Eyeliner+Serum in Ultra Black.

I do like the felt-tip "brush" type applicator because it will allow the control over the thickness of your line depending on how you apply it. You can get a super thin line or a thicker line but take note, it dries quickly.

I heard that Revlon's Grow Luscious Mascara and Rimmel's Lash Accelerator Mascara are good products that live up to the hype. Let's see if the Physician's Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum live up to the lash growth it claims
I will do a review in 4 weeks and will post up images of the results.

According to their website:
Its a high-tech formula enhances the appearance of lashes while providing the instant definition of a liquid eyeliner, all in one easy step!
Lash Boosting complex targets the base of lashes where it is most effective.
Innovative and easy to use eyelining tool delivers effortless definition.
High-tech Japanese formula is long-wearing, water-resistant and smudge-resistant with growing long, thick lashes.

Price :  $10.95 you can find this at any drugstore and it comes in three different shades.

Garnier The Brusher Microbead Cleanser, Purifying Formula , Combination Skin

I have been using this product for three weeks now (daily), and notice some improvement on my skin I do have oily skin but due to the seasons change, my skin is a combination of dry and oily skin. I need a product that won't clogged up my pores, that is an oil-free cleanser that deeply exfoliates so I picked up this product at my very favorite drugstore Target last month for a womping sale price $3.49. I don't recall the actual price....I think its under $6, not sure. My skin feels nice, smooth and for these past three weeks no breakouts besides the small pimple that came knocking on my mustache area yesterday... But that's because of sweat and oily skin during this hot weather (t-zones).
I do love the scent and anything with microbeads I'm SOLD! Overall I love this product ☺

According to Garnier:
Product Details: Deeply exfoliates + purifies pores. Oil-free. A unique daily cleanser with a soft exfoliating brush + a purifying gel with refining microbeads to deep clean pores and lift out impurities. Gentle enough to use everyday.

Directions: Twist The Brusher counterclockwise to open. Turn upside down and squeeze bottle to release gel. Twist to close. Gently massage into face in circular motions, excluding the eye area. Rinse face with water. Rinse brush and store with cap on.
