My Ultimate Goal To Have Flawless and Perfect Skin

Hi beauties!
If I had one wish it would be to have perfect and flawless skin... I wish I didn't have oily skin, big pores and sensitive skin that leads to acne breakouts and blemishes. Seriously the list can go on but anyways....

So today's post is some of the things I have been limit myself from eating, drinking and change of lifestyle... to reach my ultimate goal of having flawless and perfect skin.

I'm currently reading The Clear Skin Diet and my goodness, this book bores me to death. Remind me of a Biology Course that I failed during my college years. But I still continue to read it because it also gives me healthy recipes and food that I should eat and stay away from.

No to SALT. I missed my Thai noodles but it contain so much sodium and not to mention I feel so bloated and I already have a round face so I would like less "contouring" on the face :)

I love my GREEN TEA!!! Drinking this will prevent from sun screen. Ever since my new love for Korean Drama, I'm so motivated to drink green tea and wanting to have pretty skin like the actors and actresses.
Almonds: soooooo delicious as snacks and on salads. These bad boys do have Vitamin E which acts as an antioxidant to helps protect skin cells from UV light (but can be pricey)
Another snack I enjoy eating is carrots, good for vision (they claimed but I'm near-sighted so tooo late lol), and great for clearing up breakouts.
Sweet Potatoes, yum yum. They're loaded with Vitamin C. I also use slices of raw potatoes and rub them all over my face once a week and another fruit/veggie I like to use for my face and to eat is tomatoes.

I never thought that Dark Chocolate is just like medicine... I'm not a fan of Dark Chocolate (besides my men hehe) but studies says it reduce the roughness in our skin and also protect against sun damage.
Berries, berries, berries: blackberries, blueberries, cherries, raspberries I love em all!!!
I do love my greens: Spinach, collard greens, mustard greens... this will give you less wrinkled skin.

And of course, beauty sleep and drink lots of pure natural water. My partying ways, clubbing have died many years ago and I don't smoke cigarettes which I believe is a factor to poor diet...
So these are the foods that are heaven sent to me and I'm continuing to eat them on a daily basis and working and reaching my goal.

What is up with me and my dot dot dot... I'm on another level... excuse my typos I have a million things running through my mind.

Stop The Hate and Be Civilized and Mature

This is going to be some randomness... I came across a hateful comment on facebook and just needed to vent...
If you are a grown woman who you claimed to be, why dislike my seed because of yours isn't taken care of?
Why spread hate and negativity? Is it necessary?

You need to be individuals growing everyday in every way in any relationship for your sake, his sake (which you claim you don't want and need which I honestly do believe but on the other hand why not make his life miserable if your unhappy), and children's sake.

In today's world, it takes 2 smart, independent people to communicate and survive life with each other for the kids' sake.
It is not fair and can be a heavy burden for either partner when the other depends on him/her substantially but don't throw rocks and be bitter about it at the same time.

Funny how a person would try every strength in them to brainwash their child just to side with him/her SMH

As Oprah has said, "When you know better, you do better."

What is love?

The Word Love, relationship, letting go been on my mind today so I decided to blog about this... random I know, that's me.

Now the question is "what is love and what makes a relationship strong?"

I'm only going to speak on this topic from my perspective and I'm no expert and I'm not Dr. Phil.

I remind myself love is a verb not a noun.

There's a phrase that say "The brain does the thinking, but the heart knows more about love than the mind can ever comprehend"
I don't believe in chasing people…and on a serious note, not chasing for love...
In my opinion, keep your relationship OFF the Internet. I promise you, your relationship will last longer than the average relationships nowadays.

A friend of mine tweeted how long her relationship was based on the length of time they've spent together, but rather on the foundation they've built together.I guess numbers plays a bigger role... and if your trying to recover from a broken relationship don't rush into another one *side eye*...Unhealthy people make unhealthy choices!

On the other hand, the only relationship advice you should take from a single person is what NOT to do lol... continue reading, perhaps...

Is your relationship having problems? Settle it with THAT person. Your "friends" can't help you. The person you're with, can.

Girls cheat if there’s something wrong with the relationship; guys cheat if there’s an opportunity...If someone doesn't appreciate and value you, then why are you even with them? Know your worth and what you deserve.
If you know someone is already taken, please, please, please respect their relationship There's plenty of fishes out in the sea. Don't be the reason...

and before judging anyone else's relationship, keep in mind that every lover has a different kind of love even if our girlfriends bashing away their lover's flaws and all and horrible traits...

My motto is: Everything happens for a reason and I'll take things as is without no closure. I don't need to have and hold the last words or hear any excuses or explanations of why the relationship didn't change/work...

How can we live love if some people don't choose to change...
Life is TOO short to be looking back and trying to understand what went wrong... Somethings you have to LET IT GO! even when life give us difficult times and obstacles... it helped me to understand better than before, how infinitely rich and beautiful life is in every way not to take things for granted nor people and that so many things that one goes worrying about are of no importance whatsoever so I try to live life to the fullest...

Wisdom is knowing when a relationship has run its course... letting go is a leap of Faith.

When love seems to fade at times, only a faith is all I need. A faith that believes everything will be fine in the end and as long we hold our composure from insanity, our insecurities, our doubts and negative surroundings and people. I always tell myself to walk by faith and not by sight and that sometimes, what we want isn’t always what we get, but in the end, what we get is so much better then what we wanted.
A loss is good for the soul. Sometimes its good for the bad. You can't win all time or have your ways, how will you learn and grow. I'm grateful for life's lessons and the courage to move forward, onward, upward.

An old saying that fighting for love is easy, but learning to surrender to a losing battle and leaving that's hard.

Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.

Hi dolls!
I forgot to blog about this e.l.f Beauty Eye Manual and it's been sitting in my blog-pile for sometime now...
It includes 12 eyeshadows not matte, one eyeliner pencil, one eyeshadow applicator and a mirror. As well as a step by step guide to creating two very wearable looks day and night. It includes a cheap looking face charts that you can take notes on which I like. This is one of their back-to-school edition and did get this for $4.99usd at my local Walgreens store. I'm not sure if e.l.f still have this on their website, I didn't bother to check...

Swatches, scroll down...

Holy my arm is hairy, that's unattractive lol

REVIEW: Almay Smart Shade Foundation and Concealer

Hi Beauties here is a another post of the "worst" foundation and concealer EVER that I have come across to! It's the Almay Smart Shade Foundation and Concealer in Medium 300. First of all I got this as a 2 for 1 deal at Target (one of my Favorite Stores) for such a good deal for about $7.00usd. I'm not a huge fan of Almay products besides using their pressed powder. Now I tried this product about a month half ago because its "Summer" and I need something light like a tinted moisturizer. Secondly, this product has a horrible color selection (which not in favor) and OMG its so so so runny. Third, it is a VERY light coverage. Buildable, eh. Lastly, it felt sooooooo greasy on my skin after a few hours if I forget to retouch my make up with pressed powder, and in addition I have oily skin SO it broke me out horrendously Not to mention the concealer is awful. No bueno mama's
So I'm suffering with acne scars :( and it's been month and half...and counting
The only good thing about this product is the shade Medium did magically turns to my perfect shade and skin tone, odd, and that it contains spf 15. It's also not tested on animals, fragrance free and hypoallergenic but I'm still not a happy camper. Sorry Almay, your product made my skin broke out and I'm not feeling beautiful (deep sigh)... so my next post that I will be blogging about My Ultimate Goal To Have Flawless and Perfect Skin...

So you beautiful ladies out there have dry skin and want that sheer and natural look, this maybe the product that you will like. And to my fellow oily skin beauties, Beware lol.

look how runny it appears on my hand

What is your worst and awful foundation and concealer?

Review: Clairol Nice 'n Easy Color Blend Foam Hair Color

Hi Dolls! This is just my intake of the Clariol Nice N Easy Color Blend Foam and I picked the shade in Light Ash Brown 6A.
The pros about this product is it's easy to apply-hair color formula that begins as a liquid and mix it with 3 shakes to build a foam. Then you would squeeze the foam  (from the bottle) into your hand and apply it to your hesd using your fingertips (of course wearing plastic gloves). Well that's a quick 1-2-3 step.

Now the downfall, I' m not a big fan of Clairol hair dye products but this item was given to me for free and I needed a change and new color in my life before I hit the big 31 (last month). What I don't understand is why people rave so much about this product. It's okay and I do like the results of the shade I picked out for myself but during the process of applying it to my hair I couldn't stand the awful smell to it. It didn't have that chemical and toxic smell but more of a malt liquor, homeless drunk smell. I'm not exaggerating or cray cray because I'm one of those people who can smell anything from distance and within instance. So there I am dying my hair and my sisters and daughter saying I smell like "beverage" it's a word I taught my daughter to say to substitute any alcohol. I'm one of those people who can't stand the smell of sloppy drunks and it irks me that my hair smell like it.

I refuse to even waste my money on this and wouldn't suggest any of my friends to use it unless they're drunk themselves lol

Review: e.l.f. Essential Beauty School 32-Piece Eyeshadow Palette Vol. 1

Hi dolls! Well I picked up the e.l.f. Essential Beauty School 32-Piece Eyeshadow Palette Vol.1 in Natural at Target a couple of weeks ago. It's under their Beauty School line LE for $5.00usd and I'm super stoked because that's the way to win my heart because if you ever order anything from their website, it takes weeks to ship out. But I'm only speaking from my experience so ch-!!!

Okay back to the palette... (blogging in the middle of the night-scattered brain)

I love the color selection it's a wide range of "natural" shades from mattes, shimmers, glittery finishes and what not

I do recommend to use a creamy base (image above no base or primer) to get the colors to stick and also for long lasting shadow, apply their e.l.f. primer.

  • The colors are pigmented.
  • Versatile.
  • Long lasting with E.L.F. primer (I have oily lids *sad face).
  • Very affordable $5.00
  • The eye shadows are powdery.
  • The packaging is made of thin plastic so it's not sturdy at all.

Did you guys pick up any e.l.f. Beauty School Line products when it was available at your local Target and Walgreen Stores?

Don't Go Chasing Waterfalls, Please Stick To The Rivers

Do you like the title? lol It's a verse from TLC "Waterfalls" song... I'd thought I share some pictures of me and my family at Multnomah Falls. It's a 30 minute drive from Portland and one of Oregon's must-see attraction!
About Multnomah Falls:
According to Native American lore, Multnomah Falls was created to win the heart of a young princess who wanted a hidden place to bathe. Although you can see the top portion of the falls from the highway, to view both tiers you have to walk to the viewing area located in a carved-out opening in the rock face. Tilting your head up in the narrow rocky confines of the steep cliffs, you get a mind-boggling perspective on the sheer magnitude of the falls. (via

 My baby sis "Dollface"

 Yes! I reached the bridge!
Oregonians love our green and clean air.

My sisters, daughter and Mia

It was a pleasant walk but I was breaking a sweat because I had my little precious in my baby carrier and she is growing so fast. She slept through the short "hike" while her older sister enjoyed it and wanted to hike all the way to the very top. But I didn't allow her to hike to the top of the mountain because after the bridge, there are no railings, ropes and etc to hold on to and it can be very dangerous.

I hope you enjoy the pictures my love!
